Financial Analyst
A full-time post based at our office in Hertford. Flexible or reduced hours to meet family or other commitments can be offered to the right candidate.
The position will be part of the analytical team entering trades into our database through bespoke tools. Since our products are increasingly international, knowledge of European languages would be an advantage. Salary will be 16k to 18k dependent on experience and hours.
As with all roles, good PC skills are essential and the ability to work on own initiative.

Sales Coordinator
A full-time post based at our office in Hertford. Flexible or reduced hours to meet family or other commitments can be offered to the right candidate.
We need somebody to help us target prospects for our subscription service. As a specialist service to the financial community, the successful candidate should have an understanding of the role of professional investment institutions and those that work within them.
As well as researching potential subscribers in different countries, the role requires initial contact by letter or email which will be followed up by telephone with a view to making an appointment. Thereafter, monitoring the sales process at every stage including trials and contracts through to invoicing.
Since our products are increasingly international, knowledge of European languages would be an advantage. Salary is dependent on experience and can include a bonus scheme linked to revenue generated where appropriate. Whilst primarily office based, more experienced candidates will have the opportunity to attend and conduct client meetings.
As with all roles, good PC skills are essential and the ability to work on own initiative. For this role a relaxed and confident telephone manner is also important.

Graduate Internship
We are seeking an intern to join us for a six-month period in 2012. The position will be full time and may lead to a permanent role.
Career Development Prospects

Skills Required

Responsibilities
Aiding the analytical team in sourcing additional data. Competant interns will be given further responsibilities in daily transaction analysis.
Carrying out ad-hoc analysis on our data and other development projects as required.
Salary
Although the role is primarily to help students get an insight into the Financial markets with a view to a future career, the work is on-the-job learning rather than a structured internship programme. Thus the successful student will be treated as an employee and paid a daily rate plus expenses.
