The Company
Directors Deals is a specialist global market data company which monitors and analyses share transactions made by directors in the shares of their own company.
We monitor 18,000 companies share transactions in 46 countries worlwide (32 in Europe, 7 in Asia, 2 in North America, 2 in Oceania, 2 in the Middle East & 2 in Africa).
Directors Deals is based in Hertford, which is a county town just north of London, United Kingdom. The company was founded in 2001 by Michael Tindale to cover the directors deals of the UK main market, and has continued to expand into a global data provider.
We currently employ between 10 & 20 people, with a mixture of academic and city backgrounds. We have our own in house software development team which builds bespoke tools and reports for both internal and client use.

We supply succinct, contextual and detailed reports in consistent format to enable clients to make more informed investment decisions.
Directors Deals have a range of products tailored for Professional Investors and analysts. As well as via our interactive website, our products are delivered directly to clients in well known 'office' formats such as Excel and Portable Document Format (pdf), making them easy to use and to integrate with other systems if needed. Quantative data is delivered via tab delimited text files (TTX) or XML.
We offer a range of standard and customised reports as well as ad-hoc searches or reports on behalf of clients. Reports are available on an intra-day or daily basis and offer a comprehensive summary of the days directors deals as well as in-depth analysis focusing on companies whose Directors have made significant transactions.
Our Team
Michael Tindale - Director 
Before founding Directors Deals, Michael spent five years in the city working for Multex and Thomson Financial specialising in Buyside solutions.
Through a series of mergers both companies now form Thomson Reuters. Prior to this he was at the University of Cambridge studying Politics which included some statistics. Michael is primarily responsible for strategy and client liaison within the business.
Mark Leland - Operations Manager
Mark joined Directors Deals in January 2006 and is responsible for the collation of all primary data and report delivery.
He graduated from Liverpool University in June 2005 with a degree in Maths & Finance.
Dave Wright - Senior Programmer
A programmer with ten years' experience working on various contracts including DataLogic and CMG Wireless Solutions.
Dave joined Directors Deals in April 2006 and is responsible for in-house software tools and database maintenance.
Elaine Connor - Head of Sales
Elaine has a degree in English & History from the university of Newcastle upon Tyne. She spent thirteen years working as a fund manager on the US desks of Morgan Grenfell and Flemings rising to director level.
She left the City in 1993 to raise a family and joined Directors Deals in 2005. Her role is to seek new clients for our subscription products.
Kevin Adams - Sales
Kevin joined us following nearly 25 years working in the City. His career started with Phillips and Drew (now UBS Asset Management) before moving into financial broking with spells at Tullett Prebon and Tradition. Kevin is chiefly responsible for driving new sales in the UK and Continental Europe.
Ralph Axford- Senior Analyst
Ralph spent over thirty years in the City as a fund manager ending up at Kvaerner Pensions Investment Management which was previously known as Trafalgar House.
He joined Directors Deals in April 2007 as a senior analyst with responsibility for continental European markets.
Gavin Hickman - Web Developer
Gavin joined the directors deals team in June 2009 having graduated from Staffordshire University with a degree in Computer Game Design. He re-designed and built the new website which went live in early 2010, and continues to work as part of our software development team.
Jonida Bajrami - Analyst
Jonida joined the team in February 2009, having completed her degree in Accounting and Finance at London Metropolitan University in May 2008.
She is responsible for the collation of South East Asian, and Eastern Europe data.
Sahar Ahmed - Analyst
Sahar joined Directors Deals in September 2008, having completed her Masters in Business Administration at Hamdard University, Pakistan in 2002.
Sahar is responsible for collation of Australasian & African data.
Jane Dallas- Analyst
Jane spent six years as an technical reviewer at Canada Life before joining Directors Deals in November 2006.
