The summary report is Director Deals' extended time period report. The summary report is generally created for a region at the end of every month, and also at the end of the calendar year.
This report focuses on looking at broader themes of the Directors Deals data. Rather than being trade specific, it looks at buy/sell ratios and sector analysis to show director activity compared to the rest of the market for that region.
Sector Summary
This is the analysis of sectors looking at trading patterns over the month. It details total buys and sells per sector, plus the total value of these trades. From this we also produce graphical representations which show sector activity relative to other sectors.
Time Series Analysis
We can also see trends over longer periods by looking at the cross market for purchases and sales. By looking at month on month numbers we can show trends of the directors as a whole for a region. This gives clients an idea of sentiment of the directors in general, and gives them a different angle from which to survey Directors Deals.
Company Analysis
By reporting the total value of directors' trading within companies, we can give a different view of directors' deals. Showing the top ten trades and largest 25 companies' buys and sells, we can give our clients an insight into which directors have confidence in their companies, and also which are conversely selling stock. By looking at trades together we can show trends of directors better than analysing single trades alone.
